WayMakers is our group for 11-16 year olds. We recognise this is a crucial age range where it becomes less about spoon feeding and more about listening, guiding and encouraging their personalities and gifts to come through.
Our Sunday sessions are much more about sharing together around a theme and trying to see the way through the challenges and opportunites that being this age brings. In worship and Friday night sessions we want to give this group ways to express their faith.
2024 promises to be an exciting year as we join with the other churches in Rushden in facilitating an Illuminate Tour by LZ7 in March. The band will visit 5 local secondary schools delivering PHSE assemblies all building up to an end-of-week concert with an invitation to get to know more about Jesus through a follow-up discipleship course.
Our WayMakers are looking forward to this tour and have already got involved by raising over £1,000 towards the costs with a sponsored walk completed in September 2023.
