We take Safeguarding seriously as a church because we know that it is all too easy to be complacent. Our church is a member of thirtyone:eight, a Christian organisation, inspired to 'speak out on behalf of the voiceless, and for the rights of all who are vulnerable' as it says in Proverbs 31:8.
We ensure all members of our team working with young people have up-to-date DBS checks and appropriate training. We also have set procedures in place to ensure we follow best practice in this area.
