A Christian's Christmas

 A time of quiet reflection
For all that God has done
For God so loved the world
He sent his only son.

A Child born to Mary
Wondrous Saviour for us all
Without this precious gift from God
Mankind would surely fall.

A time for us to celebrate
To thank, to worship and praise
Our beacon of salvation
And do so by God's grace.

It's not about the tinsel
Or the lights upon the tree
It's about the faith to follow
A better life for you and me.

As we gather as a family
Giving thanks for all of them
Let us also offer thanks
For the child born in Bethlehem.
