Covid 19 - Your journey through Church

Please don't arrive before 10.45am unless you have an appointed role (the service will begin at 11am).

Entry will only be through the main doors in Brookfield Road.

The Car Park entrance is only for those with mobility issues.

Be prepared to queue to get in at 2m distance

On entering your temperature will be taken. If you have a high temperature you will not be allowed to stay.

Unless you are exempt you will be required to wear a face covering - please bring your own, but face masks will be available.

Hand sanitizer will be available and must be used.

You will be asked to complete a contact card

Inside church a paper plate with communion bread and a disposable cup of juice will be on a table for you to take if you wish.

Please keep 2m away from anyone not in your household or bubble.

Please take your seat straight away don't stand around to chat.

Our rows of chairs will be 2m apart.

Keep two clear chairs between yourself and anyone outside your household or bubble.

Fill rows from the outside toward the centre aisle and don't leave any unnecessary spare seats.

The person leading the service will not wear a face covering whilst leading and preaching, but will do so before and after the service.

If you need to leave Church before the service begins you must leave via the right-hand door at the stage end of church and return via the main door in Brookfield Road

The route to the main toilets is to go to the stage end of church and leave via the left-hand door.

The passage to both the Gents and ladies’ toilets is then one way back through the Green Room to the back door at the rear of church.

The disabled toilet will be available via the usual door on the right-hand side at the stage end of church.

Return from the disabled toilet will be via the same route, care must be taken in navigating the door back into church, social distancing must be maintained, this is the most serious pinch point that we have.

Hand sanitiser and anti-viral wet wipes will be available in the toilets, these must be used to clean all surfaces that you have touched. The toilet should be flushed with the lid down.

Care must be taken to maintain social distancing of 2m if you stand up during worship and the person in front of you remains seated.

After worship is finished please leave promptly by the main door, maintaining social distancing, take your communion cup and plate with you and put in the bin provided.

The offering plate will be available on the table at the back of church.

Once downstairs seating is at capacity seating will be available upstairs in the balcony.

Access to the balcony will be via the right-hand stairs at the stage end of Church

You are asked to move around to the balcony to take the seat as far around as possible.

The back row is to be kept as a walkway with seating on the front rows, the back row at the back of church is also to be used.

The seats will be marked in 1m sections, please leave a 2m gap between yourself and other households, please do not leave unnecessary gaps.

Descent is from the balcony is via the stairs on the left hand side of Church.

If anyone feels ill during the service, they are to be taken to the Gold Room. Anyone tending them should wear face covering, apron and gloves which are provided in that room.

No Bibles will be provided so please bring your own.

At this time there will be no children's activities and the creche will be unavailable.
